Graphic Design, Toronto Web Design and Web projects Kate Kalcevich has worked on while employed by the Ontario Government, as a subcontractor for other organizations, and as an independent web designer in Toronto.
Clear Web Studio provided front-end development services for the Tia Staff Scheduling website using HTML, CSS and Javascript. The project involved working closely with the client (who was also the designer) while ensuring compatibility with Tia Staff Scheduling's web application backend.
While working as the New Media Team Lead for the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs, Kate Kalcevich managed a complete overhaul of their public Internet site. The project involved implementing a new design and creating new content including a kids' space, youth zone, featured artists, events, and a multimedia gallery. Kate also worked closely with the Web Writer/Editor who rewrote the ministry's web content in plain language, making it easier for the public to understand.

While working for the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs, Kate also led the development of the ministry's first intranet site. The intranet was built over a period of three months and uses WordPress blogging technology.
While working for the Ontario Government, Kate was part of a small team that rebuilt and redesigned the Premier's Office website. Kate's role included converting the design into web pages, adding content to web pages, implementing a video player, and ensuring the website was easy to use and accessible to people with disabilities.
Kate played a key role in building this flash-based website including developing bilingual flash games with accessible alternative versions while employed by the Ontario Government. Kate worked closely with the designer to convert the design into web pages and also assisted the other developers working on the project.

Kate created the HTML/CSS templates that the web team at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs used to rebuild the website.

While working as a New Media Specialist for the Ontario Government, Kate Kalcevich was the front-end developer for the Ministry of Research and Innovation website. In addition to building web pages from the designer's mockup and adding content provided by ministry staff to web pages, Kate also assisted with the hiring and training of the ministry's webmaster. Additionally, Kate designed two intranet options for the ministry, one of which is shown here.
While working for the Ontario Government, Kate Kalcevich was the front end web developer who built the website for the newly created Ministry of Health Promotion. When the ministry hired a webmaster, Kate provided training and support—ensuring a smooth transition for maintenance of the site. Kate also provided two design options for the ministry's intranet, including the one shown here.
